    3. When I worked at the nursing home in the 1980s there was a lady named Alice Cross from Sesser there. Her husband came every day to see her. I am sure she would have been born around 1900-1910. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Baptist Church in Sesser with the Rev. E. A. Somers officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Cross was born in Sesser, the son of Jasper and Mary (Hammonds) Cross.
