The Southern Illinoisan, Tuesday, February 29, 1972 ALBERT E. TAYLOR Funeral services for Albert E. Taylor, 71, of Valier, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gilbert Funeral Home, Christopher. The Rev. Harl Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in the Horse Prairie Cemetery, northeast of Sesser. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Taylor died Monday in Miners Hospital, Christopher. He had been in ill health for some time. He was born Oct. 30, 1900, in Tamaroa, the son of Walter and Laura Woodside Taylor. He was married to the former Marie Paradiso. He was a retired chef and a member of the First Baptist Church, Valier. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Walter of West Chicago and Kenneth of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Shoemaker of Valier and Mrs. Laura Harvey of Sesser; and two brothers, Rev. Howard Taylor of Alton and Paul of Whittier, Calif.
