Kim, There were actually three women named Lillian Cross from the Sesser area, all married to brothers. The brothers were William Jasper Cross, Everett Alonzo Cross, and Wilburn Vallie Jasper Cross, sons of Charles Jasper Lafayette Cross and Mary Elzada Hammonds. William Jasper Cross b. April 18, 1890, Goode Twsp. FCI; d. December 29, 1918; married Lillian Della Hill, daughter of Byron Hill and Margaret Glover, December 19, 1915, Sesser, FCI. Everett Alonzo Cross b. March 18, 1892, IL; d. Oct. 24, 1965, St. Louis, MO.; married Lillie Cynthia Hill, daughter of James Henry Hill and Mary Elizabeth Jones, March 23, 1913 FCI. Wilburn Vallie Jasper Cross b. December 15, 1896, Goode Twsp. FCI; married Lillie Featherston, daughter of Charles Edward Featherston and Nancy Adeline Foster, December 18, 1914, Sesser, FCI. The siblings I have for these Cross brothers are: Charles Ruben Cross b. Jan 8, 1882, Goode Twsp, FCI; d. Feb 21, 1954, Herrin, WCI; married (1) Estella Hill, daughter of Preston Hill and Emily Lewis, Oct. 30, 1899 Perry Co. I have his parents and brothers Charles Ruben (b. 8 Jan 1881 d. 21 Feb 1954) and William Jasper (b. 18 Apr 1890 d. ??), but did not have Troy in my file. Lon also had a sister named Lila Ann (b. ??). There was another Lillie CROSS in Sesser, born Lillian Della HILL. She was dau. of Byron L HILL and Maggie GLOVER. She married William Jasper CROSS. We did not discover she was a cousin until the 1980s.
