The Southern Illinoisan,Tuesday, May 29, 1962 LUKE ZUMBERAC DIES Services Set Thursday At Sesser Luke Zumberac, 74, of 411 E. Callie St., Sesser died unexpectedly at 3:30 p. m. Monday while mowing the lawn at his home. Franklin County Coroner Eugene Dorris, who conducted an inquiry, said Mr. Zumberac died of a coronary thrombosis. Born in Yugoslavia, Oct. 18, 1887, the son of Matt and Kale Zumberac, he came to the United States in 1907. A retired coal miner, he last worked at Old Ben 15. He leaves his wife, Germaine; son, Louis Don of Arlington, Va.; step - daughter, Mrs. Ribella Palada of Wisconsin; stepson, Dino Cassanelli of Sesser and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Sesser Baptist Church. The Rev. Fred Beck will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Brayfield Funeral Home, Sesser.
