Sean Eugene Baker, 45, of Benton passed away Sunday afternoon March 9, 2014, in Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born in Kingman, Ariz., on Feb. 4, 1969, the son of Donald Eugene and Barbara Nell (Wilcox) Baker. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Mr. Baker is survived by his mother, Barbara Baker of Benton; three children, Anya Rice of Mt. Vernon, Raven Baker of Norwalk, Calif. and Peyton Baker of Naples, Fla.; two grandchildren, Stormie Chaney and Maddison Faith Flores; uncles and aunts, Doretta (Jim) Emberton of Thompsonville, Dorothy (Gordon) Hamlin of Oregon and Harry Baker of California; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his father, and an infant sister. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 15 at Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton, with the Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Hospice of the Good Samaritan.
