The Southern Illinoisan, Monday, January 22, 1968 JOHN MOORE, SESSER, DIES IN HOSPITAL John Moore, 77, of Sesser. died Saturday afternoon in Marshall Browning Hospital, Du Quoin. He was born May 31, 1890, son of William and Nancy McFatridge Moore. He was a retired coal miner. Mr. Moore leaves his wife, the former Aliie Loucks; daughters, Mrs. Helen Jennings of Homewood, Mrs. Margaret Meents of Kankakee, Mrs. Bess Reid and Mrs. Maxine Bullock, both of Sesser, Mrs. Milda O'Hara and Mrs. Irma Wilson, both of Bourbonnais; sons, Ward of Benton, Gene of Kankakee and Wayne of Mulkeytown; brothers, Sam and Alfred, both of Sesser; sisters, Mrs. Minnie Davis and Mrs. Mary Gruchala, both of Sesser; 25 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren; Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Tuesday in the Sesser Baptist Church, with the Rev. E. A. Somers officiating. Burial will be in Forest (sic.) Prairie Cemetery near Sesser.
