He lived in Bisbee for 35 years, where he was the chief supply clerk for Phelps Dodge Corp. Eight years ago he came to Phoenix and resided at 3030 E. Indian School. Mr. Brayfield is survived by his wife, Evelyn, of Phoenix, a son, Bill, of Hartford Conn., a half-sister, Mrs. Helen Ross, Sedalia, Mo., and one grandchild. He died unexpectedly of a heart attack. Mr. Brayfield was the son of the late Dr. B. F. and Rena Cockrum Brayfield, who lived at Christopher. He leaves his wife, Evelyn; son, Bill of California; sister Helen Ross of Sedalia, Mo. Funeral services and burial will be in Phoenix.
