These are undoubtedly Posey County, IN families. Winemillers definitely....the Bennetts and Underwoods were intermarried in Posey. Thanks Sheila & Pat Hmm, I have 4 wives for Rosswell Winemiller but none named Eliza Underwood. I have Underwood family too from Indiana but they were from Jennings Co, IN (at least when they married in 1846). My ggg grandmother Martha Elizabeth "Patsy" Underwood (1824-1917) was daughter of James M. Underwood (1802-1845) and Nancy Jane Rea (1804-1842). Martha married William Staley 23 Mar 1846 in Jennings Co, IN still lived in Jennings Co, IN in 1850 census but were in JCI by 1860 census. I find no marriages between a Winemiller (any spelling) and an Underwood in IL. Maybe they married in Indiana? My Bennett family came from Scott/Jefferson county area in Indiana so I don't know if this William J. Bennett is connected in any way or not.
