The Southern Illinoisan, Tuesday, November 25, 1975 GLENN RAY HAMMONDS Glenn Ray Hammonds, 50, of Braceville, formerly of Sesser, died on Nov. 23, 1975, at St. Luke's-Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago. He was born on Jan. 11,1925, in Sesser, to Clarence and Sybble Hammonds. He was married to Dolores Yoder. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Gardner. Survivors include his wife; mother; four daughters, Glenda Kay Swalls of Zeigler, Carolyn Sorensen of South Wilmington, Kimberly Youskezitch of Gardnier, and Cathy Yatuni of Coal City; one son, Casey of Braceville; five, sisters, Grace Kirk of Three Oaks, Mich., Minnie Robbins, Eunice Brown and Eva May Minor, all of Sesser, and Mary Ethel Piacentini of Belleville; four brothers, Harold of St. Augustine, Fla., and Ray, Opal and Jesse, all of Sesser; and six grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser. The Rev. Dallas Skidmore will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Masonic Rites will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
