The Mt Vernon Register News, Tuesday, February 15, 1977 Naomi Sinclair, Buckner Mrs. Naomi Sinclair, Buckner, died at 12:05 p.m. Monday at Franklin Hospital in Benton. She was a retired nurse. Funeral services will be held al 2 p.m. Thursday al the Johnston Funeral Home al Whittington, with the Rev. Eugene Braden officiating. Burial will be in Kirk cemetery Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Sinclair was born in Illinois on March 17, 1911, the daughter of Rector and Ollie (Wingo) Sneed. She married Fred Sinclair, who preceded her in death in 1956. Mrs. Sinclair was a member of the Buckner Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Fred of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Timothy of Buckner; two grandchildren; four brothers, Dwight Sneed of Benton, Nolan Sneed of Whittington, Gale Sneed of Ewing and Clarence Sneed of Los Angeles, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. Maye Rains of Benton, Mrs. Hazel Clinton of Dix and Mrs. Hattie Atteburry of Neoga. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
