    3. The Tennessean Newspaper online, Nashville, TN Dickson County obituaries: April 23, 2014 Henry Robert Morris Henry Robert Morris, 100, of Dickson, died on April 18, 2014. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the White Bluff Church of Christ with Bro. Doug Couch officiating. Burial with military honors will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Middle TN Veteran's Cemetery. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the White Bluff Church of Christ or to the Dickson Humane Society. He was born November 19, 1913 in Benton, Illinois. He served his country from 1942 until 1946 as a First Sergeant in the U.S. Army with the BTRY C 508th AAA Gun Bn. He was stationed at Luzon, New Guinea, and the Southern Philippines. Before retirement, he worked for many years as a pharmacist. He attended services at the White Bluff Church of Christ in Dickson County. Survivors include his Companion Boston Terrier, Boo; sister-in-law, Serena Burt of Dickson; brother-in-law, Wallace Burt of Texas; nieces and nephews, Janelle Bergfield of Indiana, Sherry Marsh of Charlotte, Phyllis Burt of Dickson, David Heite of Dickson, John Burt of Texas, Steve Burt of Texas, Ray Burt of Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Morris; his siblings, Vic Morris, Pete Morris, Fanny Morris, Mabel Snipes.
