From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] WEST FRANKFORT -- Lily Mae Nolen, 88, passed away at 8:29 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, in Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. She was born Aug. 18, 1925, in Akin to John Delbert and Thelma Blanche (Springer) Mclain. She married Charles E. Nolen, and he preceded her in death Nov. 6, 2000. She was of Christian faith. Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Carl) Irby of Marion; two sons, Greg Nolen of West Frankfort and Dr. Alan (Susan) Nolen of West Frankfort; nine grandchildren, Lori Little of Marion, Rick (Lora) Seddon of Benton, Jason Seddon of Benton, Leah L. Wagley of Herrin, Shane Nolen of Mulkeytown, Taryn (Matt) Hassler of San Antonio, Texas, Alana (Mark) Adkins of Marion, Ashley (Dusty) Melvin of Johnston City and John (Kacy) Nolen of West Frankfort; 22 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard McLain of West Frankfort, Ronnie (Sidney) McLain of West Frankfort and Michael McLain of Creal Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; and two brothers, John Delbert McLain Jr. and Dan McLain. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, in Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort with the Rev. David Nolen officiating. Burial will be in Brady Cemetery in Akin. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at the funeral home.
