Judith Ann Jones, 67, of Benton, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Immanuel Baptist Church of Benton with Rev. Chuck Bass and Dr. Sammy Simmons officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery of Benton. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Immanuel Baptist Church of Benton. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton. Judith Ann Jones was born on February 19, 1947 in Herrin, IL, the daughter of Clyde R. Elimon and Wilma Lee (Summers) Elimon. Judy would marry Cliff Jones on August 6, 1966. Judy was a homemaker and formerly worked at the Benton Community Bank and later for ARDL in data entry. She enjoyed being a member of the Old Orchard Drive Neighborhood Ladies Coffee Club, and was also a member of a Ladies Social Sorority in Benton. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Benton. She is survived by her husband Cliff Jones of Benton, three daughters Leigh Ann and husband Jim Ward of Benton, Kelly and husband Ty Kanzaki of Bettendorf, Iowa, Lori and Husband Chuck Craven of Benton; her mother Wilma Lee Elimon of Benton; eleven grandchildren Jennifer Summers of Fort Worth, TX, Daulton Ward, Ashtyn Ward, Jenny Ward Head all of Benton, Allison Ward Anthis of Florida, Zachary Chaplain, Alex Chaplain, Katie Kanzaki all of Bettendorf, Iowa, Dillan Chamness, Tyler Chamness and A.J. Craven all of Benton; a great-granddaughter Anais Dove of Fort Worth, TX; a great-grandson Trevor Head of Benton; her mother-in-law Grace Jones Bowers of McComb, MS; a brother-in-law: Dennis A. Jones and wife Mary of McComb, MS; three aunts Nadine and husband Rolland Dunivan of Benton, Verdine and husband Edward Miller of Marion, Jean Elimon of Belleville, and several cousins. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her father Clyde R. Elimon, a granddaughter April Dawn Chaplain, a son-in-law Mark Chaplain, her father-in-law Ernest L. Jones, and an uncle Jim Elimon.
