The Southern Illinoisan, Friday, October 28, 1960 SERVICES SATURDAY FOR STELLA PIPER Mrs. Stella Piper, 77, Sesser, died at 3 a. m. Thursday in Franklin Hospital, Benton. Born Nov. 11, 1882. she was the daughter of John and Frances Ford White. Her husband, Edgar, died in February. (sic.) She leaves sons Orvil, Omer and Charles, all of Sesser, Paul of Wood River; daughter Mrs. Alma Braden of Sesser; sister Mrs. Nova Bennett of Maywood and brother Ross White of Christopher. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Sesser Christian Church, with the Rev. McKinley Crabtree, and the Rev. Ellis Dugger officiating. Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery, near Waltonville.
