Daniels, age 88, of Mount Vernon, IL passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mount Vernon, IL. Cecil worked as a truck driver first for Cusumano and Sons and later for Torregrossa Produce and was of the Pentecostal faith. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 18, 2014 at Old Shiloh Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Harold Whitlock presiding. In honor of Cecil's wishes no visitation will be held prior to the service. Interment at Old Shiloh Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Daniels is survived by 3 daughters - Linda Cooper of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Patricia Holbrook and husband Bobby of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Sharon Selveyl and husband John of Mount Vernon, Illinois; 4 sons - Anthony Daniels and wife Sandi of West Frankfort, Illinois, Terry Daniels and wife Robin of Mount Vernon, Illinois, John Daniels and wife Jane of Mount Vernon, Illinois, DeWayne Daniels and wife Kathy of Cahokia, Illinois; a brother - Joe Fay Daniels and wife Joann of Sycamore, Illinois; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Cecil H. Daniels was born on Sunday, March 7, 1926 in Jefferson County, Illinois to William and Anna Daniels. His parents, one daughter: Sandra Corbett, one grandson, two great grandchildren, three brothers, and three sisters preceded him in death.
