Ira Joseph Fowler may have returned to Illinois from Missouri, but his family had already been in Illinois since around 1850. He is part of my McLean family, Ira s/o Joseph Fowler & Thresa Robinson/Robertson; Joseph s/o James Fowler & Mary Wicks; James s/o James Fowler & Mary McLean; Mary d/o Samuel McLean & Lorena Warson. Samuel & Lorena are my great great great grandparents. Lorena came to Illinois, Gallatin Co., from Hopkins County, KY with her three children Sarah Jeannetta, Mary and Franklin, around 1850 along with the Coffman and Loman families. Sarah was already married to my great great grandpa, James Cassius Loman. Several of the group later moved to Jefferson County, IL.
