Funeral Home Website Apr 3, 2015 Robert Joe "Bob" Edmonds, 73, of Mulkeytown, Illinois passed away at 5:00 a.m., Thursday, April 02, 2015 at his home with his loving family at his side. Bob was born March 30, 1942 in West Frankfort to Robert Leroy and Dorothy Ruth (Bacon) Edmonds. He married Kimbra Jo Janello July 11, 1986 in Mulkeytown. She survives in Mulkeytown. Other survivors include two sons, Bryan Edmonds of Tamaro, Robby Edmonds of Olney; a step-daughter, Jamie Arondelli of Christopher; three grandchildren, Chase Arondelli of Christopher and Jacob Reed of Benton and a great granddaughter Julie Laurent in Mulkeytown; a brother, Roy Edmonds of Mulkeytown and two sisters, Nancy Rice of Mulkeytown and Reba Hilty of Christopher. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Eco Edmonds. Mr. Edmonds was a retired coal miner who last worked at the Kerr McGhee mine in Galatia. He served in the Illinois National Guard and had been a member of the Bloomington American Legion Post 2910. Private family interment services will be at Zeigler Cemetery.
