Weekley, 82, of West Frankfort, Ill., born Oct. 24, 1932, in Magnolia Springs, Ala., died at 2:28 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Ill. Mr. Weekley was a member of Westgate Baptist Church in Trenton, Ill. He was a veteran having served in the Navy and Air Force Reserves for 32 years. He was a member of Sons of the Revolutionary War. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruby, nee Mahathy, Weekley; sister, Carol Wooley; grandson, Brian Weekley; and sons-in-law, Lenard Bybee and Richard Boss. Surviving are his wife, Norma, nee Quigley, Weekley of West Frankfort, Ill., whom he married on Jan. 18, 1958; three sons, James and Linda Weekley of Trenton, Ill., William and Kimberly Weekley of Murphysboro, Ill., and Charles Weekley, Sr. of Trenton, Ill.; three daughters, Kimberly and Melvin Deimeke of Trenton, Ill., Evelyn Bybee of West Frankfort, Ill., and Cathlene Boss of New Baden, Ill.; two brothers, Winston and Anna Weekley of Atlanta, Ga., and Roger and Lynn Weekley of Mobile, Ala.; a sister, Linda and Ed Weekley-Baria of Ocean Springs, Miss.; grandchildren, Danielle Weekley, Glenn Trame, Shannon Flowers, Stephanie Fehrmann, Karen Korte, Dustin Hilmes, Brandon Weekley, Jonathen Weekley, Charles Weekley, Jr., Christen Korte, Tiffany Weekley, Tina Bybee, and Shane Walden; and six great-grandchildren, Rylee Trame, Asher Trame, Mackinley Flowers, Elijah Korte, Aurora Fehrmann, and Reed Walden. Memorials may be made to Westgate Baptist Church building fund. Envelopes will be available and accepted at the funeral home.
