Vanita R. Neve Born: December 25, 1939 Died: March 31, 2015 Macomb-Vanita R. Neve, 75, of Macomb, Illinois, passed away at 12:19 PM Tuesday March 31, 2015 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was born Dec. 25, 1939 in Dongola, Illinois, to Van and Lodema Eddleman McCommons; she married Louis Neve on March 19, 1961. He survives Also surviving are her sons, Louis (Michelle) Neve, Mark (Robin) Neve, Karl (Julie) Neve all of Macomb; a daughter, Nicole Neve of Bettendorf, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, George McCommons of Dongola, Illinois, Wesley McCommons of Olathe, Kansas; 2 sisters, Judy Dixon of Benton, Illinois and Mary Holman of Ewing, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steve McCommons. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and the Canasta Club. She was an avid Bowler. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday April 4, 2015 at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home, where visitation will be Friday April 3, 2015 from 5-7 PM. Monsignor Richard Pricco will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
