Matthew T. Moss, 49, of West Frankfort, passed away 12:54 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Westside Care Center in West Frankfort, IL from complications of pancreatic cancer. Matthew formerly worked as a Newspaper Delivery Carrier for the Henderson Gleaner in Henderson, KY and for Crisp Container in Marion. Matthew was born February 27, 1966 in Carmi, IL to Cluster Edward and Edith M. M. (Jeager) Moss, Sr. Surviving are his companion and best friend, Randell Johnson of West Frankfort; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Mike Moss of West Frankfort, Mark and Michelle “Mickie” Moss of Mt. Vernon; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Donnie Newman of Carmi; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; uncle, Joe Moss of Carlyle; three aunts; Viola Phillips of Fort Wayne, IN, June Steingass of Fort Wayne, IN and Vivian O’mininsky of Shepherdsville, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Cluster Edward Moss, Jr. and Robert Joseph Moss; uncle, Bill Moss and five aunts, Dee Wallace, Mildred Gum, Dorothy Virginia Moss, Lillian Erlinger and Irene Moss. In honoring Matthew’s wishes, he will be cremated. There will be no services or visitation. Interment of his cremated remains will in Hopewell Cemetery at McLeansboro, IL with Rev.
