Margie Louise Womack, age 83, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Health Center in Saint Charles, Missouri. Margie was an active Cub Scout Den Mother, was on the Board of Cerebral Palsy of Southern Illinois and the Land of Lincoln Board, the AMVETs Auxiliary and she was an election judge. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Steve Edwards presiding.  Visitation will be from Noon until Service Time 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  Interment at Oakwood Cemtery in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  Margie Womack is survived by her husband - Glenn N. Womack, Jr. of Mount Vernon, Illinois; 3 sons - Michael O’Dea, Jr. and wife Vickie of Mount Vernon, Illinois, John Womack of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Eric R. Womack and wife Jolyn of Sesser, Illinois; 4 grandchildren - Michael O’Dea, III and wife Janice of Longview, Texas, Christopher S. Ross.  She married Michael O'Dea, Sr. and he preceded her in death.  She married Glenn N., Womack, Jr. on March 17, 1960 in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  Her parents, first husband, her brother: Alva U. Dare, one sister: Gertie Merrill and her stepmother: Amanda Ross preceded her in death.
