Kenneth Marvin "K.C." Clarida, III, age 36, of Pinckneyville passed away at 12:28 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital. K.C. will be cremated. There will be no public services. Arrangements are through the Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton. K.C. was born on December 23, 1978 in Herrin, IL the son of Kenneth Marvin Clarida, Jr. and Cindy Kay (Dirks) Clarida. He was employed in sales and distribution with Gass Logging and Firewood in Pinckneyville. He formerly worked as a belt splicer with M-Class mining. He enjoyed outdoor recreation, and especially enjoyed fishing. K.C. is survived by his father Kenneth Marvin Clarida, II and wife Beth of Benton; his mother Cindy Kay Rabacchi and husband Larry of Buckner; his maternal grandfather Richard Dirks of Energy; two sisters Whitney Melton of Tamaroa, Elizabeth Taylor of Akin; a niece and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Kenneth Marvin Clarida, Sr. and Theda Clarida; and his maternal grandmother Patsy Dirks.
