Gladys Marie Kee, age 81 of Benton, Illinois died at 5:45 A.M. Friday, January 30, 2015 at her home in Benton, Illinois.  Gladys worked at the Dixon Developmental Center (formerly Dixon State School) for the mentally challenged and was a member of the Baptist Faith. Graveside Service for Gladys Marie Kee will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, February 2, 2015 at Smith Veterans Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois.  There will be no Visitation.  Interment at Smith Veterans Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois.  For those who wish, memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Several Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren, and Nieces and Nephews also survive. Gladys Marie Kee was born on Tuesday, July 11, 1933 in Palmyra, Missouri to George and Lillian McClain.   She married Wayne E. Starr and he preceded her in death on Jan 22, 1993.  She married Robert Dean Kee on September 24, 1994 and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2008.  Her parents, both husbands, three brothers and one stepdaughter: Shellie Kee also preceded her in death.
