Billy Williford, 75, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at his residence. Billy was born May 24, 1939, in East Prairie, Missouri, to Lonzo and Mildred (Cotham) Williford.He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather; member of Third Baptist Church in West Frankfort and loved to collect arrowheads. He also loved to help people.Survivors include his wife, Lynn Williford of Orient; daughter, LaDonna (Kevin) O’Connell of Carterville; son, Ron Williford of West Frankfort; brother, Frank (Joan) Williford of Bridgetown, Missouri; three grandchildren, Molly Loughran, Rose Loughran and Brandon Williford; and two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Daven Williford.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marshall, Charles and Bobby Joe Williford; and sisters, Catherine Morgan and Betty BrockServices will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, in Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with Brother James Kerley officiating. Interment will be in Denning Cemetery on the Orient Road. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
