Robert “Bob” Mezo, 81, of Wayne City, died 6:32 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.  He was born July 30, 1933, in Akin, the son of Logan and Lela (Bain) Mezo. He married Martha Hunt and she survives in Wayne City. He was a retired salesman. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, one daughter, one brother and two sisters. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with the Rev. Leland Ganieany officiating. Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery near Macedonia. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
