When growing up I though people called him Chow. Others say he was called Chal. Apparently I wasn't the only one who heard Chow because I have heard others say they thought he was called Chow, so he was probably called both Chal and Chow. This obit. says he was born in Sesser, but Sesser did not exist in 1900. He is part of both my Brown family and Lewis family lines. Mr. Robnson owned the Robinson Drug Store in Sesser since 1956. He was born July 20,1900, in Sesser, (sic.) the son of Marion and Maude Hill Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a veteran of World War I. His wife the former Virginia Sanders, died in 1958. He leaves one son, John, Marion; and three brothers, Raleigh, Benton, and Clifford and Bill, both of Sesser. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Brayfield Funeral Home, Sesser. Rev. William Schetergood will officiate. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
