Helen Lemmon, 86, of West Frankfort passed away at 4:52 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 in Channahon, Il. She was born May 29, 1928 in West Frankfort to William Leroy Steward and Mona (Lawrence) Steward. She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years Dale Lemmon, two sons, Robert (Linda) Lemmon of Bluffton, Indiana and Paul (Janet) Lemmon of Tamaroa; a daughter, Debbie (John) Shelian of Channahon; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She is also survived by a sister, Ruby Eldridge of CA. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Leona and Ida Mae and by two infant sisters. Mrs. Lemmon was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in West Frankfort and enjoyed quilting. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 in the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort with Brother Gary Lemmon officiating.
