Karen Sue (Atchison) Wagner, 55, of Ina passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Benton, IL on November 10, 1959, the daughter of James & Patricia (Melvin) Atchison. Karen was a Beautician working in Mt. Vernon & in Houston, TX. She graduated from Richland Beauty Academy in Mt. Vernon. Karen is survived by her father: Jim Atchison of Golconda; mother: Pat Atchison of Ina; brother: Jeff Atchison of Ina; sister: Robin Marlow & husband Mitch of Ina; 3 nieces: Lindsay Marlow of Vermillion, South Dakota, Kaitlin Wheeler & husband Blake of Mt. Vernon, Kelsey Stortzum & husband Trevor of Herrin; and 2 great-nieces: Layla Wheeler, Aria Stortzum. Private Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 2nd at the Kirk Cemetery in Ina with Rev. Cameron Trusty officiating. The Johnston Funeral Home in Ina is in charge of arrangements.
