Dale was born Nov. 11, 1937, in Scheller, to Thomas and Vivian (Duckworth) Dublo. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the B Company 26th Signal Corp. He married Clara (Schafer) Dublo on Aug. 27, 1960, in Du Quoin, and she survives of Mulkeytown. He worked for Blue Bell Packing, Old Ben 26 and was a farmer. He was member of UMWA, and Illinois Horse Pullers Association. Dale loved his horses. Survivors include his children, John and Angela Dublo of Mulkeytown, Vance and Allison Dublo of Mulkeytown, and Sandy Dublo of Energy; grandchildren, Fallon Dublo, Amber Dublo, Knox Dublo and Kollyns Dublo; brother and sister, Ralph and Donna Dublo of Sesser, and Maxine Martin of Bonnie. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother-in-law, Clifford Martin. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, in Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser, with Brother Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 16, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
