Jessie St., Christopher, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Poulson Funeral Home of Benton. Burial will be in the Benton Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. Mr. Baker died at Christopher Hospital at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. He formerly lived Williamson County and moved to Franklin County in 1949. He was a miner at the Waltonville No. 3 mine. He was the son of the late John and Belle Bush Baker. He was married to Maude Little. Mr. Baker was a member of the Carterville First .Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Mrs. Judy Taylor of West Frankfort; stepson Robert Purcell of Chicago; sister, Mrs. Carl Etherton of Carbondale; and two grandchildren.
