Gilbert Funeral Home Southern Illinoisan Mar 28, 2015 CHRISTOPHER -- Phyllis B. (Long) Crockett, 91, died Friday, March 27, 2015, in Franklin Hospital in Benton. She had worked at the Masonic Home in Sullivan. Phyllis was born March 3, 1924, in Du Quoin, to Frank and Maude (Mifflin) Kelley. Survivors include children, Linda Wright of New Baden, Sondra Barringer of Salem, Phillip Long of Benton, and Jenetta Trussell of Christopher; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; son, Jess Edward Crowe; and one brother and three sisters. Private family services will be Monday, March 30. Burial will be in Masonic and IOOF Cemetery in Benton. Family requests no flowers. Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher is in charge of arrangements.
