Betty Jean Muncy, 74 of West Frankfort, died at 5:09 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015, at her residence. She was born on May 19, 1940 in West Frankfort, Illinois to Edward and Connie (Chmieleski) Dawson. She was a member of Glorybound Tabernacle of West Frankfort. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Dean Braggs and Edward Muncy, and her parents. She is survived by two sons: Bryan Braggs and Darren (Kim) Braggs all of West Frankfort; daughter, Tonya (Mike) Todich of West Frankfort; two brothers: Bob (Vickie) Dawson; Edward "Butch" (Carolyn) Dawson all of Benton; two sisters: Helen Dodd of West Frankfort; Darcas Cravens of Marion; six grandchildren: Brandi Adams, Zachariah Braggs, Brandon Braggs, Jennifer Braggs, Sean Braggs, and Michael Shaw; and four greatgrandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort.
