Aline Bruce, age 72 of Benton, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Leffler - Poulson Funeral Home of Benton. Ms. Bruce was born on September 19, 1942 in Benton, the daughter of John Bruce and Ival (Morris) Bruce. Aline worked in security at O' Hare Airport in Chicago. Previously she worked in the drafting of electronic boards for electronics, including microwave ovens. She is survived by a sister Monalee Snyder of Benton; three sisters-in-law: Betty Bruce of Benton, Barbara Bruce of West Frankfort, and Varlyn Stanley of Creal Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
