Kelly J. Roberson, 32, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 31, 2015, at home. She was born May 2, 1982, in Benton. She married Jeremy Roberson in October of 2002. Kelly loved her family and her animals, and she was a hard worker. Survivors include her husband, Jeremy Roberson of Benton; two sons, Nick McClerren and Damian Roberson; sister, Bridgett Thacker of McLeansboro; three brothers, Patrick McClerren of Peoria, Kevin McClerren and wife, Gayla, of Benton and Mike McClerren and wife, Tina, of Logan; mother, Pam Robinson of Benton; father, Rick McClerren of Benton; grandmothers, Eddyth Mandrell and Mary McClerren, both of Benton; mother-in-law, Linda Ward of Benton; stepmother, Sue Roberson of West City; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Kim Webb of Benton, Jamie and Rob Rizor of Las Vegas, Jessyca and Danny Frye of Mulberry, Arkansas. Michelle and Jarrid Cima of Newburgh, Indiana, William Ward and Beth Ward, both of Benton, and Drew and Jayma Roberson of West Frankfort; nieces and nephews, Cassie, Morgan, Gabrellia and Rachael McClerren, Destiny Russell, Shelby McClerren, Patrick McClerren, Kameron Russell, Dillion McClerren, Tyler and Nathan McClerren, Jordan, Michael, Carson, Julian, Justin, Zachary, Zayden, Zoey, Hayley, Whitney, Kristen, Joey and Makenzie; and aunts and uncles, Brad and Becky Mandrell, Sam and Karen McClerren, Margaret and Dale Emerson and Candy and Steve Hall. She was preceded in death by her grandpas, Gene Mandrell and Bill McClerren; father-in-law, Dwyght Roberson; nephew, Dalton Russell; and stepdad, Dave Robinson. Services will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 3, in Morton and Johnston Funeral Home in Benton with the Rev. Roger Webb officiating. Burial will be in Horse Prairie Cemetery in Sesser. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
