Ramona Jean Anderson, age 67, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at her home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Ramona was a homemaker. Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2015 at Epworth United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Bud Storey presiding.  Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until Service Time 6:00 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2015 at Epworth United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  In honor of her wishes, Mrs. Anderson will be cremated following her funeral service.  For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House or to American Heart Association for Pediatric Research and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. McWhirter.  She married Myrel R. Anderson on June 28, 1968 in Carmi, Illinois and he preceded her in death on March 9, 2011.
