    2.   Norma Louise Riley, age 91, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at her home in Mount Vernon. Norma worked for 12 years as cashier at the Mammoth Department Store in Mount Vernon.  She got her cosmetologist license in the late 1950’s and worked at Goldblatt’s discount store in Chicago before opening her own shop, Norma’s Beauty Shop, in Mount Vernon in the early 1960’s.  She was an Eagles Women’s Auxiliary member and was a Demolay Mother.  She was very family oriented and will be remembered for never forgetting a special event in the life of her nieces and nephews.  She wrote poems for birthday remembrances, enjoyed making and decorating cakes for all occasions and she worked in many different crafts.  Religion was very important to her and that was reflected in her love for religious music.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Don Verhines presiding.  Visitation will be from Noon until Service Time 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  Interment at Wolf Prairie Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois.  For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Wolf Prairie Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mount Vernon, Illinois 62864.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hughey Funeral Home where you may call (618) 242-3348 or visit www.hugheyfh.com for further information and to send condolences.Norma Louise Riley is survived by her 2 nieces - Brenda Denham and husband Don of El Paso, Texas, Tamara Travis of Mount Vernon, Illinois; 2 nephews - David Donoho of Clarksville, Tennessee, Terry Donoho of Paducah, Kentucky; Seven Great Nephews, one Great Niece, Four Great-Great Nephews and five Great-Great Nieces also survive.Norma Louise Riley was born Friday, October 5, 1923 in Mount Vernon, Illinois daughter of Clarence O. & Pearl (Campbell) Pasley.  She married Charles Riley on November 17, 1945 in Mount Vernon, Illinois and he preceded her in death on April 21, 1986.  Her parents, her husband, one son: Roger Riley, Stepfather: Stewart Bean, a sister: Wilma J. Donoho, a brother-in-law: Kenneth P. Donoho, a nephew: James P. “Jim” Donoho and one great-great niece: Taylor Travis preceded her in death.
