    2.  Carmen Lucille Lampley, 81, passed away Tuesday morning Feb. 3, 2015, in Franklin Hospital in Benton.She was born April 27, 1933, in Carbondale, the daughter or Glenn O. and Lillian (Adams) Hayse.She married Kenneth James Lampley on May 5, 1950, and he preceded her in death Jan. 17, 2006.Mrs. Lampley was a very active member of North Benton Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was very involved in the Wednesday night kids program.She loved camping, country western music and dancing. Above everything else she loved God and her family.Mrs. Lampley is survived by her seven children, Debbie Williams and husband Carl of Ina, Kerrie Stewart and husband, Jack of Benton, Rick Lampley of Benton, Joanie Sims and husband, Stacy of Paducah, Kentucky, Greg Lampley of Christopher, Lilli Loucks of Zeigler, and Rusty Lampley of Benton; eight grandchildren, Jim Eldridge Jr. of Mount Vernon, Amanda Varner and husband, Jason of Marion, Ashley Cross and husband, Ryan, of Martinsville, Indiana, Ansley Carmen Sims of Paducah, Kentucky, Hayli Lampley of Christopher, Austin and Aszure Loucks of Christopher, and Elijah Lampley of Benton; eight great-grandchildren, Brittany Eldridge, Ellie and Rayson Varner Jacksen, Laben, Aden and Aaren Cross, and Blakely Loucks; one great-great-granddaughter, Chloe Biggerstaff; and two sisters, Mary Belle Taylor of Glenwood and Katie Taylor of Glenwood.Mrs. Lampley was preceded in death by her parents; husband; twin daughters, Bonnie and Connie Lampley; son, Brian Lampley; grandson, Aren James Loucks; four sisters, Evelyn Hayse, Merle Frye, Samantha Jane Risley and Elizabeth Sample McGhee; and by a brother, Albert “Buck” Hayse.Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, in Morton and Johnston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary West officiating. Burial will be in Masonic and Oddfellows Cemetery.
