Ann (Lopko) Bianchini, 92, of Royalton, Illinois passed away at 3:48 p.m., Sunday, February 08, 2015 at her home with her loving family at her side. Ann was born December 30, 1922 in Royalton to John and Pauline (Smozenick) Lopko. She married John Bianchini January 23, 1945 in Benton. He preceded her in death August 14, 2007. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and George Christos of Alsip; a son and daughter-in-law, John M. and Helen Bianchini of Richton Park; three grandchildren, Adam and Sheri Bianchini of Frankfort, Christian Christos of Alsip, Sheila and Derek Eaton of Bluffton, SC; six great grandchildren. Her parents and a brother, John Lopko also preceded in death.Mrs. Bianchini was a member of the Protection of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Royalton. Grave side services for Mrs. Bianchini will be held at11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the St. Mary’s Orthodox Cemetery east of Royalton with Father Peter Hsu officaiting. There will be no visitation, family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery prior to 11:00 a.m. Following the services family and friends are invited to O’Charlie’s in Marion for a luncheon.
