Ruth Ann Kent, age 52, of Marion, IL passed away suddenly at 12:36 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, in Heartland Regional Medical Center of Marion, IL.She was born on Saturday. May 26, 1962, in Marion, IL the daughter of Elbert Lee and Juanita Ruth (Kelley) Bedwell.Ruth Ann attended school in Marion and was a graduate of Marion High School in 1980.She was united in marriage to Roland Eugene Kent November 4, 2011 in Marion, IL and he survives.Ruth Ann is of the Baptist faith and also enjoyed spending time managing her home and seeing to the needs of her family.She is survived by her husband, Roland E. Kent of Marion, IL; two step children, Dale Ray Bozarth and Mandy Jo Bozarth both of Marion, IL; two sisters and one brother, Carol Bean of Big Indian, NY and Patricia Fleming and her husband, Brian and their children, Kinsey and Kasey all of St. Charles, MO; brother, Ron Bedwell and wife, Shelli and their daughter, Justine all of Mulkeytown, IL, other extended family and many friends.She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Joseph Bedwell. Arrangements for Ruth Ann Kent have been entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 N. Court St., Marion, IL. The time of the visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the funeral home.Following the time of visitation the funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Kallem presiding.Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Carterville, IL.
