The Southern Illinoisan, September 22, 2003 CHRISTOPHER -- Robert Trogolo , 51, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, in Gilbert Funeral Home, with Father Poole officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Cemetery in Buckner. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Trogolo was retired from Stotler-Herrin Lumber in Christopher and the City of Christopher. He was a former member of the Christopher Fire Department. He was a veteran of the National Guard in West Frankfort. He was born Nov. 25, 1952, in Christopher, the son of Peppino Trogola and Mary (Vargo) Trogolo of Christopher. Survivors include his parents, and brother, Joe Trogolo of Plano, Texas.
