Rose Marie Patten, 86, of Benton passed away Monday evening, February 9, 2015 at the StoneBridge Senior Living Center. She was born in St. Joseph, MO on January 12, 1929, the daughter of Harry W. & Marie (Rosenbaum) Jensen. She married Harlan Lee Patten on October 4, 1950, and he preceded her in death on January 25, 1956. Rose was a longtime active and faithful member of the First Christian Church in Benton. She was a retired police dispatcher for the City of Benton. Three things she loved after family was her Benton Firefighters, Benton Rangers & John Wayne. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 13th at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton with Pastor Kurt Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery in Whittington. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
