Tim McCollum,76, of Chandler, Arizona passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 in the Lund Family Hospice Home in Gilbert, Arizona following an extended illness.   Tim was born March 11, 1938 in West Frankfort, Illinois, the son of Arthur Noble and Helen (Mumbower) McCollum. He grew up and attended school in Benton, Illinois and graduated Benton High School in 1956. Tim was employed in retail, and retired from Scotty’s Home Center. Surviving are his wife, Donna (Westray) McCollum to whom he had been married fifty –seven years of Chandler Arizona; three children, Kim Dowling (husband Ralph) of Muncie, Indiana; Mike McCollum (fiance Toni Peconi ) of Castle Pines, Colorado; and Michelle McCollum (partner Debbie Hodson) of Parker, Colorado; and four grandchildren, Carrie Dowling of Chicago, Illinois; Sean Dowling (wife Erica) of Indianapolis, Indiana; Garrett McCollum of Denver, Colorado; and Preston McCollum of Denver, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 in Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort, Illinois with Jason Ishmael officiating.  There will be no visitation friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
