    2.   BETTY JUNE WILLIAMS Johnston City–Betty June Williams 78, of Johnston City passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 8:25 A.M. at the Herrin Hospital. Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City on Monday February 23, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Kevin McNeely officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Betty was born on October 5, 1936 in Johnston City the daughter of Joseph and Ethel (Hayes) Gaddis. She married Ralph “Bodge” Williams on August 2, 1959 in Johnston City. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2009. Betty was a retired assistant pharmacist first for Pursell’s Drug Store then Kuhnke’s Drug Store and finally Bandy’s Drug Store all of Johnston City. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Johnston City. She is survived by one son, Rodney Williams and wife Sherry of Johnston City; a granddaughter, Tiffany Williams of Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Angel and Justin; step-grandson, Ritchie Stewart and wife Joy of Herrin; step-great granddaughter, Britni; three brothers, Valice Dean Gaddis and wife Annie of Albuquerque, NM, Donald Gaddis and wife Sharon of Herrin, and Charles Gaddis and wife Almeda of Marion; one sister, Pat Wallace and husband Dennis of West Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Williams; an infant brother, Joseph Gaddis; three brothers, Bobby, Lester, and Kenneth Gaddis; two step-granddaughters, Lori and Sarah; and one step-great grandson, Tyler.
