The Benton Evening News, April 28, 2003 Christopher - Birthal J. Park , 80, died at 12:55 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2003 at the Shawnee Christian Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 28 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher with the Rev. David McConnell. Burial will be in the Harrison Cemetery in Buckner. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Park was born on July 8, 1922 in Christopher, the daughter of Rich and Minnie (Rogers) Wall. She married Leodis Park who survives. Mrs. Park was a homemaker. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge and the DAV Auxiliary in Christopher. Mrs. Park is survived by one son, Dean ann Scheiber, German Valley, Ill.; one step-daughter, Leeann Confer, Rockford; two grandchildren, Glori Miller and Treasure Davis; five grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Talbert and Homer Wall and one sister, Mable Mitchell.
