Does anyone know if her husband Leslie L. Lewis was son of Thurman Coil Lewis and Verna Ethel Graham? I have Leslie born about Dec 1926. > On February 9, 2015 at 9:52 AM "elvis500@frontier.com via" > <ilfrankl@rootsweb.com> wrote: > > > Kathryn Ada Lewis, 87, of Marion, IN formerly of Sesser, IL was a true >believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Found his obit on FAG and he is the same person I guessed he was: Leslie L. Lewis, 86, Marion, went to meet the Lord with his loved ones around him at 1:58 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013 in his home. Les was born November 9, 1926 in Sesser, Ill. to Thurman and Verna (Graham) Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kathryn A. Lewis, Marion; one son, Dennis Lewis, Marion; one daughter, June (Bob) Everling, Jr., Upland; 3 grandchildren, Leslie Kay Lewis, Marion, Katie Ann Everling, Upland, Cody Everling, Upland; and one great-grandchild, Alexis Antrim, Marion. He was preceded in death by his first daughter, Sheryl Ann; his mother; father; one sister; and three brothers. Les served in the Merchant Marines in WW2 and was a charter member of Sunnycrest Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Masons. Les retired from General Motors after 35 years. He is also the former owner of Marion Plywood and A-Z Enterprise. Les remained a local businessman for the last 25 years by operating Wholistic Healthcare/ D & L Health Foods, earning the name "Herb Man". Les enjoyed airplanes, traveling and fishing but, most of all, he enjoyed helping others be the healthiest they could be. In honor of Les, a "Celebration of Life" service will be held in the "Garden House" in Matter Park, Marion on Friday August 16, 2013. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. The service will be at 5 p.m with a Gospel concert featuring "Lewis McCord and the King's Four", food and fellowship. The family would like to say thank you to Family Life Care and special thanks to "Maria." Also, the family would like to thank Les's friends and patrons of D&L for all their support. Arrangements were handled by Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN 46952. > On February 10, 2015 at 8:32 AM Sandy Bauer via <ilfrankl@rootsweb.com> wrote: > > > Does anyone know if her husband Leslie L.
