Conrad F. Trotter, 76, of Benton passed away Monday evening February 2, 2015 in Missouri Baptist Hospital. He was born in Wayne City, IL on August 17, 1938, the son of Marshall & Alma (Buchanan) Trotter. He married Jeanette (Booten), and she preceded him in death on December 23, 2008. Mr. Trotter worked for Orb Howard Oil Co. He was a retired Coal Miner and a UMWA member. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator, he also worked for Bluebell Packing Co. He was a private Business owner, operating the Colonial House Restaurant in Benton, and the Farmers Market Produce business. He also worked at Norman Fred Trucking. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday, February 8th at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton with Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
