She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Dean Braggs and Edward Muncy, and her parents. She is survived by two sons: Bryan Braggs and Darren (Kim) Braggs all of West Frankfort; daughter, Tonya (Mike) Todich of West Frankfort; two brothers: Bob (Vickie) Dawson; Edward "Butch" (Carolyn) Dawson all of Benton; two sisters: Helen Dodd of West Frankfort; Darcas Cravens of Marion; six grandchildren: Brandi Adams, Zachariah Braggs, Brandon Braggs, Jennifer Braggs, Sean Braggs, and Michael Shaw; and four greatgrandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort. Marsha was born February 29, 1956 in Christopher, Illinois to Angeline (Salingue) and Frank Noto. She married Jack Rowland November 15, 1991 in Paducah, Kentucky. He survives in Zeigler. She is also survived by daughter and her husband, April Lynn and Nathan Beckwith of Christopher; two granddaughters, Kylie and Jasmine Beckwith of Christopher; three uncles, John Salingue and Wynn Holland of Christopher and Phillip Salingue of Michigan; an aunt, Esther Salingue of Christopher; a sister and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Mike Dollins of DuQuoin and a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Debbie Rowland of Benton. Her parents; an uncle, Robert Salingue and an aunt, Sadie Holland preceded her in death. Mrs. Rowland was a graduate of Zeigler-Royalton High School, Class of 1974. She had managed Pooh's Video in Herrin and worked as a teacher at local children's day care centers. Grave side funeral services for Mrs. Rowland will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Zeigler Cemetery with Brother Denny Bush officiating. Vernon. She was born in Nason on June 1, 1932, a daughter of Howard and Mildred Lucille (McGovern) Cochran. She was married to George Gerald Ashleman. Rose was a nurse's aide and later in life became a licensed practical nurse. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Rose is survived by her sons, George Robert Ashleman of Nason, James Michael Ashleman of Nason, Dan Ashleman and wife Sharon of Sophia, N.C. and Howard Ashleman and wife Amy of Dix; daughter, Teresa Rose Ashleman of Warrenville; eight sisters, Virginia Walters, Betty Dennis, Mary Artel, Carol Reed, Ruth Kirby, Linda Collins, Diana Milligan and Nancy Milligan; two brothers, Dannie Cochran and James Cochran; seventeen grandchildren, Liz Marie Ashleman, Daniel Ashleman, Nathaniel Ashleman, Samuel Ashleman, Allison Ashleman, Amy I. Danny was born June 10, 1947 in Herrin, IL to Bruno Romani and Edna (Basso) Romani. He was a graduate of Sesser-Valier High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Danny was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing with family and friends. Danny married Karen (Allen) Romani on September 10, 1966 and she survives of Sesser. He was an inspector with the Department of Agriculture and the Romani family also founded Bruno's Restaurant and Lounge in Sesser in 1976. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sesser and also a member of the American Legion. Danny is also survived his children, Valerie and Chad Miller, of Sesser and Kendra Romani and fiance Chris Iannotti, of Marion; brother Frank Romani and Kim, of Sesser; grandchildren Wade Romani, Elaina Romani, Caroline Romani, Lucca Iannotti and Zane Hardesty He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Michael Romani. Terry was born June 28, 1946, in Anna, he was the son of Gean Story and Aline (Calvert) Story. He married Cheryl (Harper) Story July 10, 2004. Terry was a heavy equipment operator with Illinois Central Railroad for over 30 years, before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, his grandkids most of all. Terry was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating. He also enjoyed playing the blues on his guitar and was an avid pool player. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Harper) Story, of Christopher, Daughters; Hilari (Story) Queen and Husband Korey of Centralia, Jennifer (Hall) Orso and Husband Chad of Herrin, and Son, Brad Hall of Christopher. He was a Pappy to; Kristen Queen and Katie Queen of Centralia and Everett Orso of Herrin. He was also survived by his Uncle Vic Modglin, Aunt Juanita Calvert, and cousins Darin Modglin and his wife Kellie of West Frankfort and Kent Modglin of Seattle. He was loved by many other family members and friends, and his trusty sidekick Pistol. He was preceeded in death by his parents, his Uncle Charles Calvert, and his Aunt Betty Modglin. Willis was born Feb. 6, 1934, in Herrin, to Willis and Mary Ellen (Little) Hewlett Sr. He married Naomi Moake on Dec. 25, 1956, in West Frankfort. Together they shared 51 years together before her passing on May 31, 2008. Willis was retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of honorable service to his country. He was also retired from the Marion VA Medical Center where he worked in the dietary department for 20 years. Willis was of the Christian faith. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed going fishing and bird hunting with his sons. He loved to spend time with his family who brought him joy. Survivors include three sons, Larry L. (Stephanie) Hewlett of Woodstock, Alabama, Bryan K. Hewlett of Thompsonville, Willis L. (Theresa) Hewlett III of Thompsonville; seven grandchildren, Dustin L. (Dianna) Hewlett of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Brandy (Donald) Vojvodich of Marion, April (Brandon) House of Woodstock, Alabama, Lindsey (Jacob) Tutor of Johnston City, Jacob Hewlett of Pittsburg, Samuel Hewlett of Johnston City, and Brandon (Stephanie) Hewlett of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; 11 great-grandchildren, Dalton, Lexi and Tyler Vojvodich, Briggs and Stratton Glass, Kennedi Rae Hewlett, Joshua Glaze, Zoe Kate and Noah Lee Hewlett, Jericho and Lemuel Tutor; and six brothers and sisters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, in Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City, with the Rev. James Rivett officiating. Interment will follow in Boner Cemetery, south of West Frankfort. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Marion VFW Post 1301, American Legion Post 147 and members of the Illinois National Guard Military Honors Team. Alice had been a dispatcher for the Du Quoin Police Department. She had also worked in packaging in the meat boxing department at Blue Bell Packing. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin. She was a U.S. Navy Waves veteran of World War II. Alice had been in boot camp at Cedar Falls, Iowa, with the first class of Waves. She was then stationed at the Seattle Naval Air Station. She was a member of the Du Quoin VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion, Catholic Daughters of America, Marshall Browning Hospital Auxiliary and Women In Military Service of America. She was born Feb. 7, 1920, in Chicago, the daughter of Ransom E. and Helen J. (Jaroski) Kinman. She married Henry Eubanks on July 4, 1953, in Pinckneyville, and he preceded her in death July 9, 2001.
