    3. Betty, I didn't know about that book. I found Riley WILLIAM's father a few years ago by reading page after page of census records. There are several Riley WILLIAM's in So. IL. so it took some time to sort them out. In your previous e-mail you listed Ernest "Earl" WILLIAMS B. 7-1884. I have Ernest & Earl C. as brothers. Ernest b. July 1884 & Earl C. b. 26 Apr. 1887. Ernest Williams is listed as son on the 1900 U.S. Census, Barren Twp. FCI in hshld. of Riley & Mary WILLIAMS. Also listed is "Gil" WILLIAMS, son, b. Apr. 1888. I thought "Gil" might be Earl C. & the enumerator misunderstood his given name. Earl WILLIAMS obit, that Debbie posted, lists his birth date as April 26, 1887. 3. It is said that animals feel it or sense it before we humans. Many years ago when a mild earthquake was felt here in Glen Ellyn I was sitting on the sofa with our kitty sound asleep beside me. All of a sudden she jumped straight up in the air & howled. I thought she was having a nightmare. Then the furniture began to move, dishes rattled, & we realized it was an earthquake. Such a strange feeling but our kitty felt it first.
