Opal married while still in high school to first husband Allen McBride but the marriage didn't last. She was in WTHS Class of 1955 and I have her yearbook photo as well as the photo from her obit. Meta Blake, 77, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Mt. Vernon, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born Dec. 3, 1936, in Benton, the daughter of Lester and Meda (Miller) Breeze. She married Jack Blake on March 27, 1956 in Chicago, and they later divorced. Mrs. Blake is survived by her companion of 32 years, Terry Duncan; a son, David Blake and wife Patricia of Centralia; daughters, Debra Totten and Melissa Blake-Lowman of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sistere; and three brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband Jack Blake; a great-granddaughter; and four brothers. Mrs. Blake sold real estate for several years before opening a secretarial agency, Secretaries Plus. She moved to Phoenix in 1986 upon retirement. In honor of Mrs. Blake's wishes, cremation was chosen and a memorial service will follow at a later date in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Phoenix Suns Charities.

SESSER -- Lillian Imogene Montgomery, 86, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, at her home, with family and her beloved dog, Molly Mae.She was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Paulton, the daughter of Alvin Edward Boswell and Berniece Gibbons.She married Harry Montgomery Jr. on her 17th birthday and they enjoyed 55 years together, raising four children, with 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Junior's livelihood was owning, training and racing thoroughbred horses, and this took them many different places throughout their lifetime. Although they never owned a horse entered in the Kentucky Derby, they attended several times, once riding Junior's motorcycle to the event. Junior preceded her in death Dec 29, 2004.She is also preceded in death by her father and stepmother, A.
