    3. Sheila and others, I located the stone for Sarah (Overturf) Story at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. She died December 7, 1882 age 18yrs 5mo 18days. She is buried next to Franklin A Deese who Died October 7, 1874 age 7yrs 2mos 11days Next to the boy is Catherine (Teffetiller) Overturf Deese 1845 - 1923 Then Nelson E Deese 1843 - 1923 Does anyone have a photo of any of these folks?     3. Sheila, Thanks for the information. I have a note that Sarah Ellen was buried at Browning Hill next to her father. But I have no proof of this at this time. I have been given some names of folks buried there at Browning but there are no stones for them or the stones are broken to bits. I will dowser near Jonathans grave and see if there is a grave. He married Carleen Sue Neal on Feb. 23, 1956, in Marion and she survives.Mr. Pierce graduated from eighth grade at Spring Garden and he graduated from Mt. Vernon High School with the class of 1956. He was a member at Central Christian Church. He was a draftsman at East Side Lumber Company & Architectural Services. He was also a member of the Ewing Masonic Lodge.Mr. Pierce is survived by his wife, Carleen Sue Pierce of Mt. Vernon; two sons, Jerry Allan Pierce and wife Tammy of Opdyke and Ashley Jay Pierce of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Jason (Crystal) Pierce, Jeremy Pierce, Amie (Chad) Black, Adam (Kaelin) Pierce, Jennifer (Shawn) Vineyard, Breann Pierce and Cole Pierce; and great-grandchildren, Wade and Ty Pierce, Oliver Black, Miles Black due 7/16/14, and Lane and Madison Vineyard.Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Clifton Pierce and Dudley Pierce; a brother, Junior Pierce; brothers-in-laws, Grover Cox and Lowell Neal; sister-in-law, Shirley Neal; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Curtis and LaFue Neal.Funeral services for Mr. Pierce will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery in Ina.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Pierce’s memory may be made to the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church for their playground.
